What ScholarHunter collects — and how to opt out
What this service does
ScholarHunter compiles briefings about public scholarly records only: publications, public patent filings, and published conference programs. It does not collect contact details, social media activity, news mentions, employment information, location, or any other personal information. Every item in every briefing links to its public origin.
Requesting exclusion
If you are a researcher (or represent one) and don't want ScholarHunter users to follow your public scholarly activity in a person-targeted way, ask below. We review every request within 7 days and confirm by email.
Scope of an opt-out: opting out removes person-targeted following — hunts that follow you by name or ORCID stop immediately. Your papers may still appear in other users' topic briefings as ordinary scholarly search results, the same way they appear in any public search engine.
